This is not the app the computer came with, but from what I've read it's the current officially offered/supported one from Realtek because for whatever reason they dropped the Realtel HD Audio Manager application. After a few minutes the Realtek devices re-appeared in device manager and Realtek Audio Console showed up in the start menu. Rebooted, downloaded the latest audio driver from the Asus Prime B550-Plus AC-HES. I then ran revo uninstaller to nuke the realtek audio driver install. I deleted all the realtek audio items in device manager, choose delete driver on any that offered it. I started over from scratch on the realtek audio driver install. How do I get that Realteak audio application back? The only Realtek app currently on my computer is something called Realtek Audio Console, which isn't the app the computer shipped with, and it won't load, just says "Can not connect to RPC service."Įdit: Anyone with the same motherboard, what is the Realtek software called that is running down in your system tray where you can set audio effects, change the equalizer, etc? Should be a gold colored speaker icon I think, NOT the Windows speak icon. The installer for the driver worked fine. If I run any of the AsusSetup.exe files in that UWP folder nothing happens, but I see those processes just sitting idle in task manager. In the audio driver pack for this board from Asus there is a UWP folder with installers and I think this is that software I need, but it's refusing to install.
Prior to the wipe, it was a gold/orange colored speaker icon down in the systray but I didn't take note of the actual name of the application. I've scoured google for an answere and have come up empty. After installing windows updates and all the drivers from the mothnerboard product page at asus, I found that I'm missing the Realtek HD audio manager or whatever it's called nowadays.
Recently received my new custom rig from IBP, for some reason they installed a beta/preview build of Windows 11 that didn't get along with Corsair iCue and/or my void pro wireless headset so I had to reinstall Windows.
